Do You Know a Young Musician in Need of a Scholarship?

CLICK HERE TO APPLYEach year, From the Top, the organization that brings you the hit NPR show that celebrates young musicians, and the Jack Kent Cooke Foundation award 20 talented musicians (ages 8–18) who have financial need with the Jack Kent Cooke Young Artist Award. The final deadline for this season is quickly approaching! Applications must be postmarked no later than February 1, 2013.

Scholarship benefits include:

  • National exposure through an appearance on From the Top’s NPR radio show,
  • Up to $10,000 in financial support for instrument and equipment purchases, music program tuition and travel expenses, lessons, and more,
  • Participation in From the Top’s Arts Leadership Orientation, an experience which will inspire young artists to take their music beyond the concert hall through the creation of their own Arts Leadership Activity.
