March 9-14, 2015, Wright State University and CELIA are proud to host Maestro Keith Lockhart at the Dayton campus to hold master classes in conjunction with his guest conducting of Benjamin Britten’s War Requiem with the Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra at Schuster Center in downtown Dayton. The master classes and the performances are being held in conjunction with the CELIA sponsored project A Long, Long Way: Echoes of the Great War, commemorating the centennial of the beginning of World War I.

The master classes, Voices of World War I, and Open Forum are free and open to the public. Members of the Wright State community may attend these sessions without registering. The general public must register on this site for each session, but registration is free.

Britten’s War Requiem will be performed at the Schuster Center in downtown Dayton. The Take Note, pre-concert lecture will begin at 7:00 p.m. on both March 13 and 14; the concert begins at 8:00 p.m. on both days. Tickets are available at Ticket Center Stage; please call (937)228-3630 or (888)228-3630 to purchase tickets. Wright State does not sell tickets to this concert.
